Award and Recognition Program

The Triple Helix recognizes that many of our staff across the nation work tirelessly to make this organization the success that it has become. This program is established to honor the significant contributions of The Triple Helix’s members and to publicly recognize these individuals and chapters for their outstanding accomplishments. It recognizes members for their dedication and achievements, and it also awards chapters that have made significant impacts at their campus and who serve as a model organization worthy of emulation.

Below is a brief summary of the program. Please explore the links on this page to learn more details about the process and to access the nomination forms.

There is no limit to the number of chapters or individuals who may win a given award. While every individual or chapter who deserves an award will receive one, the standards by which we evaluate excellence and achievement will be held high.

Awards

Nomination
For each individual or chapter nominated, nominators must return a nomination form and supporting documents by March 31, 2005. Each nomination submitted will undergo a preliminary evaluation by the EDIA. After nominations have undergone preliminary screenings, a committee and then the BOD will vote for most qualified individual(s) for the award. Our faculty and national advisors will also have input on the selection of each award. There are no limits to how many people can receive each award.

Announcement of Award Recipients
Award recipients will be announced in June at TTH National Annual Conference. All TTH members and affiliates are invited to attend the conference.
Recipients will:

• Receive a Helix Plaque
• Receive a Certificate of Achievement
• Be featured in the bi-monthly TTH staff newsletter and Web site which reaches several thousand faculty and students nationwide
• Be honored at the national conference
• Additional various benefits
