Honorary Member
The qualifications and criteria for maintaining membership in this class include:
1. Remaining in good standing within the accredited university at which you attend (if applicable)
2. Filing a membership application form and submitting it to The Triple Helix
3. Holding a chapter executive board position, or equivalent, for 1 year or longer
4. Actively supporting the purpose of The Triple Helix and its activities towards achieving the purpose.
The duration of this membership is lifetime. You may resign at any time, with or without cause, by submitting a notice to the CEO. Honorary members have full voting rights in the election of the board of directors and on all other matters in which honorary members may vote. Certain awards and recognition will also only be available to honorary members. Other benefits, including event discounts and more, may be provided.

Contributing Member
The qualifications and criteria for maintaining membership in this class include:
1. Having an interest in supporting the purpose of The Triple Helix, Inc. and its activities towards achieving the purpose
2. Filing a membership application form and submitting it to The Triple Helix
3. Attendance at 2 meetings during each fiscal year. Meetings may include chapter meetings, general membership meetings, or any other approved meeting by the board of directors. Alternatively, this requirement may be fulfilled by participation in a role supporting The Triple Helix (for instance, participation in our activities without a chapter at your university).
The duration of this membership is the period remaining in the member's undergraduate career as an undergraduate student in an accredited university. The maximum duration of this membership is 4 years from the time of application. Contributing members do not have voting rights, but will be eligible for certain awards and recognition.
