Who Should Join
Eligibility
All students at the high school level and above are eligible to join one or more of our divisions. High school students may join the staff of our high school publication, The Copernicum, and our high school chapters. Undergraduate and graduate level students may participate in our publication, The Triple Helix, and take part in all our undergraduate chapters. While most students in our organization are undergraduates, we do have a growing number of graduate students heavily involved at all levels of the organization.
Students who do not attend a chapter university are only eligible for positions within our Electronic Publishing Division. Certain positions, as specified on the Open Positions webpage, require you to be a resident of a certain country to be eligible for the position.
What We Are Looking For
The Triple Helix is looking for individuals who will be passionately dedicated to their position, to their colleagues, and to our organization and our mission as a whole. While experience is always a bonus, a commitment and willingness to learn and to personally develop is far more important for any of our open positions.
Having a technical or scientific background is absolutely not required. In fact, we encourage students with non-science backgrounds to join our organization in an effort to diversify our dialogue on science. An interest in how science affects society is preferred, but certainly not necessary for every position. Many of our positions require a stronger interest in other disciplines, such as finance, marketing, and graphics design.
Specifics regarding our criteria for each position can be found on the open positions page.
If you believe you have the talent and commitment to join our highly capable staff, we encourage you to explore our open positions.
