During your tenure within The Triple Helix, you have the flexibility to tailor your experience to your needs.
There is no set path within The Triple Helix. Many positions offer you the flexibility to propose new projects and future directions as long as they maintain the integrity of our mission. Oftentimes, members choose to integrate different disciplines such as writing and marketing, an approach that we highly encourage. Furthermore, your previous experience in our organization does not preclude you from changing divisions. We frequently see writers and editors switch roles to our finance and marketing divisions based on their changing interests and pursuits.
What We Are Looking For
The Triple Helix is always looking for individuals who will be passionately dedicated to their positions, their colleagues, and our mission as a whole. While experience is always a bonus, a commitment and willingness to learn and to develop personally is far more important in any of our open positions.
Having a technical or scientific background is absolutely not required. In fact, we encourage students with non-science backgrounds to join our organization in an effort to diversify our dialogue on science and truly embrace our interdisciplinary approach. No matter what position you are interested in, we expect that all our members can appreciate the importance of placing science in a social context. Many of our positions require a stronger interest in other disciplines, such as finance, marketing, politics, and graphics design, but our internal structure supports the basic training in all these areas.
