Call for Abstracts for the 2013 American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Poster Session

AAAS, in conjunction with The Triple Helix Inc., is now accepting abstracts from undergraduate writers of the Triple Helix. The 2012 Annual Meeting and Poster Session will take place on February 16th 2013 in Boston, MA. This event will be held concurrently with the Triple Helix Annual Student Conference. Students selected to present will have the opportunity to receive feedback about their work from industry professionals, attend lectures by some of the world’s leading scientists and engineers, participate in career development workshops, and network with students and professors.

All undergraduate members of the Triple Helix organization are encouraged to apply for this opportunity by submitting an abstract to The Triple Helix International at Each author may submit one abstract. Abstract will be accepted in the following areas: Brain and Behavior, Cellular and Molecular Biology, Developmental Biology, Physiology, and Immunology, Environment and Ecology, Math, Technology, and Engineering, Medicine and Public Health, Physical Sciences, Science in Society, and Social Sciences. Abstracts should include a concise description of the background, methods, results, and conclusions of your research.

Students with accepted abstracts will be asked to submit a poster at a later date. Accepted posters will be listed in the 2013 AAAS Annual Meeting Poster Book. Winners in each category will receive a cash award and certificate, a one-year AAAS membership that includes a subscription to Science, and their names published in Science.
